With Veo you can pick camera angles lens types and cinematic effects to get the shot you want. It's also built into YouTube Shorts' Dream Screen letting creators make unique backgrounds or full clips fast.
Right now it's available in the U.S. Canada Australia and New Zealand but more regions are coming.
Veo 3 is Google DeepMind's latest video generation model, offering better visual quality, improved prompt accuracy, and the ability to generate audio. It is currently available only to Ultra subscribers. So Veo 3 comes with native audio generation, bringing environmental sounds and character dialogue directly into video creation. It supports:
Text to Video with speech and environmental sounds.
First Frame to Video with environmental sounds.
Veo 3 does not yet support features like first and last frame, camera controls, extend, or Ingredients to Video. When using these, the system will revert to Veo 2.
The Flow suite - an AI filmmaking tool - offers a full set of content creation tools, positioning it as a strong alternative to Sora. All features are currently available, though advanced access comes at a high cost.
Key features include 4K video generation with improved physics, realism, and prompt accuracy. It supports camera movements, inpainting, outpainting, and using sample videos to drive character animations. Users can generate complete scenes with synchronized voiceovers and sound effects from a single prompt.
Example Flow Process:
Generate 1st scene in Veo3
Select "Add to Scene"
Select extend
Add prompt + generate
It also enables blending characters and settings for consistent storytelling, and offers control over first/last frames and scene extensions.
Using VEO3 for image-to-video character consistency, Martin Nebelong suggests starting all clips with the same frame. Then, in the prompt, make an immediate scene change by stating: “Instantly jump/cut on frame 1 to [brief scene description], followed by a more detailed one.”

People are saying Veo 2 feels way more realistic with better physics than Sora. Movements look smoother things behave more naturally. But it’s not perfect—stuff like water splashes and object heaviness still feel off sometimes.
Some users love what Sora can do but many complain about weird glitches unpredictable outputs and artifacts messing up results. A big frustration? The official demo videos look incredible but when users try it themselves the results often don’t match up.
A few users are worried about AI restrictions pointing out that Gemini limits certain queries. Others don’t see the issue or think it’s just part of how these models work.
In general people are more impressed with Veo 2 especially when stacked against Sora. Sora has potential but its hit-or-miss results make it hard to trust. Time will tell if it can catch up.
A swirl of thick, glossy paints—electric blue, crimson red, deep violet, and canary yellow—suspend mid-air against a seamless soft-gray backdrop. They begin rotating slowly in place, then spiral outward in rhythmic bursts, dancing like a gravity-defying ballet. Each color leaves trails that weave into one another, colliding and splashing mid-flight. As the swirling tightens, the paints slam together in a perfectly timed crescendo, morphing into a suspended 3D paint-formed sculpture of the words “AI Creators Tools”.
The words are sculpted from thick oil paints in vivid yellow, deep purple, and bright lime-green. Each letter is ultra-bold, geometric sans with slightly rounded corners, front-on view, and medium extrusion depth. The paint strokes are chunky and textured, with visible ridges and glossy wet shine. Colors alternate across letters, some blending at the edges where purple swirls into yellow or lime streaks over purple.
The final form glows subtly from within, with small droplets breaking off and floating away in slow motion, catching the light. A fine mist of color glistens in the background.

Blonde woman in yellow boots standing on a mountain. She turns towards the camera and begins to pose confidently, artistically and playfully like a model. As she poses, her outfit shifts:
=> layered white lace top and straight torn light-blue jeans silver sneakers;
=> distressed cargo pants with bold orange and teal patches matching cropped hoodie, high-top silver sneakers;
Wardrobe swaps are cut-style jumps, immediate and total without cross-fading.

A motionless hot air balloon in the background displays bold branding text: “www.AIcreators.tools”. She turns toward the camera with a warm, playful smile, then begins to pose like a fashion model — confident, slightly exaggerated in gesture. With each pose, her outfit shifts via hard cut-style jump edits: first, a shimmering silver dress; then denim short overalls; next, a grey blazer; then a deep burgundy bomber jacket layered over a charcoal top; finally transitioning to light-blue torn straight jeans. Someone shared this wild prompt on Reddit without mentioning the author.
A relaxed chubby orange cat lounging on a blue couch. The camera slowly zooms in as the cat raises its left paw, rotated so the palm faces inward toward its own chest, with the thumb side angled slightly upward. In one smooth motion, the cat extends a perfectly formed, human-like but furry middle finger straight up toward the ceiling. The camera focuses on this rude gesture from a side angle, clearly showing the inward-facing paw and the extended finger. Meanwhile cat is looking straight at the viewer with apparent disgust and smugness. The scene blends cinematic realism with a touch of humor as the cat flips off the viewer.

A full-body shot holds steady on a heavily-muscled zebra-human hybrid standing squarely in a gritty urban alley. He wears reflective shades, a sleeveless black tank with bold gold "ZOOBRUH" lettering, metallic gold harem pants, and matching gold sneakers.
Suddenly, he bursts into motion: arms uncrossing in a flash, executing a sharp, anatomical combo — a crisp jab, followed by a powerful upward palm strike that mimics deflecting an invisible opponent. His torso twists powerfully as he delivers a low sweeping kick toward knee-height, gold pants rippling with the force. Instantly, he pivots into a spinning roundhouse, the camera catching each muscular rotation through his zebra-striped arms and flexed legs.
The sequence ends as he grounds himself into a deep, animalistic stance — one foot forward, fists coiled at the ready, hand feinting, snorting slightly, eyes locked onto the camera.
The soundscape mixes faint echoes of the city with sharp swooshes and low-impact thuds of movement. The camera begins a slow dolly-in, tightening focus on his final pose, framed by the weathered urban textures and graffiti-tagged brick walls, catching subtle shifts in natural light across his striped skin. The alley walls behind him are layered with graffiti tags with The text on the right wall reading "AI CREATORS TOOLS", rust-streaked shutters, and old industrial windows under soft afternoon light.
Dolly zoom shot: An empty, light-blue bedroom with checkerboard floors and blank walls. A glowing Rubik’s Cube spins in the center, then explodes in pixelated light beams, vanishing as bed, a CRT TV, a lava lamp, a bright arcade machine, a few small cassette tapes, posters of 80s icons, a neon sign, a plush Pac-Man ghost, and a Gameboy rapidly but neatly assemble around the room, thoughtfully positioned, transforming it into a vibrant 80s arcade dream.
Start with a photorealistic, cinematic wide shot of an empty art-studio with polished concrete floors and with a colorful "AI CREATORS TOOLS" text on the wall. Soft north‑facing daylight streams in, casting a clean, neutral glow.
In the center of the room sits a sealed paint-can box with visible rainbow-splash logo.
The paint-can box wiggles, then bursts open in a bright, sparkly explosion with lid flying off.
Instantly, easels, canvases, brush holders, paint palettes, abstract art prints, and colorful storage cubes explode out and rapidly but neatly assemble around the room with precise, fast motion.
The empty art-studio transforms into a vibrant creative workspace. You now see a sturdy wooden easel, stacked blank canvases, art prints, brush holders with brushes thoughtfully positioned around the studio

Veo 2 image to video generation, strangely, had a problem rendering 'pan right' camera motion. This prompt wording was tried after the default one failed. Nice glitch effects though.
