Mureka

Mureka AI lets you make full songs with vocals from a line of lyrics, a hum or a style prompt. It’s a cloud tool for fast music creation with business-use rights, voice cloning and audio editing. Good for creators, songwriters, podcasters and more.

Overview

With Mureka you can make songs with vocals by giving it a line of lyrics, a melody, a style, or even another song. It also does audio edits, voice cloning and helps people who need music for podcasts, videos or streams without doing full studio work. Music made with it comes with business-use rights depending on your plan.

The tool comes from a company called Skywork AI Pte. Ltd. based in Singapore.

The platform lets you make a full song from one line, set the genre, mood and instruments, then download it as MP3, WAV or MP4. Commercial rights are part of the deal on the paid plans.

It sits somewhere between a simple music maker and a full music production program. You get a lot of control but it probably won’t fully replace a pro studio setup - just yet.

If you make content and need fast music, it’s built for that. YouTubers, podcasters, streamers, even musicians can use it to throw ideas together. On the downside, some users mention bugs with billing or support, others had issues with charges or canceling plans.

There’ve been some new updates too. The O1 model is said to think about music better, with studio-style vocals and mixing. V7.5 aims for more realistic vocals and emotion in tracks, works in 10 languages, and goes up to 5 minutes. You can upload a song and continue it or break down a song to see what sounds and styles are in it. There's also a live output mode for smoother real-time use.

It’s good for making quick tracks for videos or ads. Songwriters can start with just a hum or line of lyrics. Podcasters and ad folks can skip expensive licensing. Agencies can create tracks that fit brand vibes. You can even clone voices or choose voice tone and gender.

The main upside is how easy it is to make full songs, even if you don’t know much about music. You can use text, audio or hums to get started. You can export stems too if you want to do more with the track.

You can also access their models through API.

    Comparing with: None

    Prompt:
A mid-tempo electronic track blending traditional accordion melodies with ambient synth pads and a trip-hop drum loop. Slightly moody but groovy.

Melody is beautiful. Not hearing accordion, but it's trying to compensate with other instruments it knows. A remix of this could be even groovier.

    Prompt:
A sad-sweet indie song with soft, whispery singing. Sounds close and lo-fi, like someone recording in their bedroom while going through stuff they’re not ready to move on from. The singer thinks back on a thing they had after hearing an old voicemail. The song plays out like a diary bits of late-night drives, smoking in the rain, and promises that didn’t last. No yelling, just quiet sadness and leftover feelings hanging around like static on a tape.

That's a really beautiful song, quite touching. Used the lyrics generated by the other model, didn't want to waste free credits on that.
