Overview

Sync. is a video editor from Sync.so that lets you change what people say in a clip while making their lips match. You don’t have to film again. It handles live action animation and even AI characters. Just upload the video, then drop in new audio. You can record it, type it in or upload your own voice. It handles the syncing with no extra training. Any language. Any speaker.

And yep it works with your own voice clones or others too. Want to speak in 10 languages using one face? Go for it. How about feeding it your own TTS voice? That’s an option too.

The team behind it built Wav2Lip so they know their stuff. Sync. picks up how the speaker talks - their lip shape rhythm even small habits, and reuses that with new speech. No robotic look. Just smooth lipsync in 4K.

You can use it for one person or multi-speaker clips. It detects who's talking and only syncs when someone’s actually speaking. Pretty handy for interviews podcasts or any content where multiple folks are on screen.

While the platform doesn't offer a massive text-to-speech voice library inside the app, it lets you connect your own TTS provider (like ElevenLabs or PlayHT) via API. So you can use high-quality prebuilt voices and sync them to your video. The Creator plan and up allow this integration.

There’s an API and SDK you can plug into apps games or post pipelines. Works with Node and has full docs. You can build on top or just use it for quick editing.

Here's how it works:

Step 1. Upload your video and voice.
Login at sync.so and upload the clip you wanna dub. If you already recorded the new voice great just upload it too. Some folks like to cut their video into scenes first like in CapCut to make syncing easier.

Step 2. Drop in the voice.
Go to the “Voice” tab pick a ready-made voice or use your own with the Clone Voice tool. Type the new text the voice should say. If you're using your own uploaded audio you can drag it from the Assets tab right into the timeline.

Step 3. Sync and export.
Click the lips icon bottom left then hit the Sync button on the right. That’s it. Wait a bit and boom lips now match the new voice. Download your final video and post away.

Sync doesn’t care if it’s Japanese or Romanian. If the voice says it the lips will match. You’ve got full control over how your video talks.

Subscription plans start at $5 a month for casual use. Serious users can move to $19 $49 or $249 plans with longer video limits more voice slots and faster job handling. All plans charge by the minute of lipsync use so you only pay for what you run. Bigger plans get discounts.
