In mid 2025, after releasing HyperSwap in version 3.3.0, FaceFusion switched from MIT to OpenRAIL-AS license.

Old versions still run under MIT which lets you use change and share the software with no limits. The new license brings in tighter rules mainly to block harmful or fake use of AI results.
