HunyuanVideo Avatar
Tencent's HunyuanVideo-Avatar takes single image and voice clip and makes full-body character videos that move and match how people sound.
Overview
Tencent Hunyuan, same folks who made HunyuanVideo and LLaVA released this tool that takes a still image and an audio clip and brings characters to life. You get an AI video where they move, talk and act in ways that match how the speaker sounds. Not just head nods either but arms, legs, faces - the whole thing is animated.
You can use one person or a whole group. Great for stories music scenes or even anime-style videos. It doesn’t stop at syncing mouths it tries, to match the whole vibe.
Tech wise, HunyuanVideo Avatar system is made up of three parts:
Character Image Injection Module. Keeps the look and motion of each person steady through the whole thing.
Audio Emotion Module. Pulls feeling from the audio and blends it into how the character moves and looks.
Face-Aware Audio Adapter. When there’s more than one speaker it lets each one react in their own way using smart face zoning.
