SkyReels-V2 is an open source AI video model made by Skywork AI which was released in May 2025.
The team behind it includes Guibin Chen, Dixuan Lin, Jiangping Yang, Chunze Lin, Juncheng Zhu, Mingyuan Fan and others.
They say it beats other public models in both quality and video length, based on their own tests.

Resolutions: 540P (544×960) and 720P (720×1280) are supported.
Hardware needs:
VRAM Heavy. For 540P with a 1.3B model it takes around 14.7GB VRAM. The 14B model eats up about 51.2GB.
It's built to make super long videos using a new setup they call Diffusion Forcing. It works with both text and image inputs and lets users stretch clips way past the usual limits.

The model aims to fix the usual issues with short clips or wobbly long ones like bad camera motion or inconsistent actors.
