SkyReels V3 dropped in November 2025 and is the new version of Skywork AI’s video tool. It combines audio-led scenes, talking avatars, video extension, and full-scene style changes in one big flexible workspace. You can drag, talk, edit and piece together videos, pictures, sound, and templates all in one spot.
It’s built to work like an AI studio. You can mix audio, text, images, and clips to make smooth projects without doing a ton of manual edits. The older version, SkyReels V2, was open source, but this one adds more agent tools and template-based features.
A big part of V3 is its avatar system. It lets you upload one or more voices, and each voice gets matched to a different talking avatar. They lip-sync right, show facial reactions, and move between different shots. It supports up to 32 camera moves and longer scenes, so it works for podcasts, interviews, explainers, or animated videos.
It supports 720p, 1080p, 2K and 4K videos.
Another main feature is clip extension. You can keep going from an existing shot with the same lighting, camera feel, and style. It can stretch scenes forward, backward, from a new angle, or shift into another shot. You can also change the whole style of a scene into LEGO, pixel-art, or paper-cut styles, not just add a filter.
Everything happens on an open canvas where you can drag stuff around, chat with agents, drop in reference media, or build scenes live. It comes with a Copilot system made up of 1 Super Agent and 28 smaller ones. They understand images, clips, sound, scripts, or creative ideas. So you can use templates, agent help, and the model itself to rough out a project, adjust the look, or build something complex fast without using old-school editing tools.
