Kling Avatar 2.0 lipsync model

Name: Kling Avatar
Version: 2.0
Also Known As: KlingAI Avatar 2.0
Creator: Kling AI

Kling Avatar 2.0 dropped on December the 4th 2025 delivering some major improvements. Avatars now attempt to move their whole body, with better hand movement, shift camera angles and show more feeling, whether it's for stories, music or explanations. Plus, you can now make videos up to 5 minutes long which works better for full stories, ads or longer content.

Like most others, this model comes in 2 versions: Standard and Professional. You get 720p as the Standard, or 1080p if you're using the Pro mode.

How it works is pretty simple. You start with an image, then add either voice or text, and give some hints about the scene and emotion. Then Kling’s tech animates it all... face, lips, body, even camera motion.

You end up with a video, now up to five minutes long, with synced speech and smooth motion.

Because it's animating a single image, full-body motion like walking or big actions might still look off. It works best for seated or talking stuff.

And like most tools like this, the output depends a lot on the quality of the photo you give it, voice, and how well you describe the motion and feel you're after.

All in all, Kling wants to move past short lip-sync clips into full-on long videos with expressive avatars.
