Argil.ai
Skip the camera and jump into AI video creation with Argil.ai. Clone yourself or pick an avatar and turn scripts into influencer-style videos fast.
Overview
Argil.ai is an AI video tool that turns scripts or pictures into short videos using avatars or cloned versions of you. You just give it a script, pick a digital persona or upload yourself, and it puts together a full video with voice, movement, subtitles, and visuals. No camera or editing skills needed.
It runs on a freemium model. You can try it out for free. Paid plans include:
Classic. Starts around $9 a week. Comes with about 25 minutes of video time, 3 avatars, and basic tools.
Pro. Starts around $24 a week (if billed yearly). Gives about 100 minutes, one online persona, 10 clones, and faster processing.
Scale. About $27 a week per seat with yearly billing. You get 300 minutes, 5 personas, 20 clones, and 3 team seats.
Enterprise. Custom cost. Offers unlimited usage, private avatars, and a dedicated manager.
Argil’s been part of YC’s Summer '24 group. It uses deepfake tech to copy facial moves, body language, and tone. Just type or say your message and it turns into a ready-to-share video. You can control tone, pace, style, outfit, and camera angle too.
It pulls in stuff from text, links, or PDFs. Then it finds the main points and builds a video with avatars, captions, and short clips. Good for folks who want to turn writing into shareable clips - like teachers, marketers, or content creators.
Features include:
- Making avatars or your own clone
- Turning text or articles into videos
- Auto subtitles, short clip inserts, scene changes
- Controlling gestures, background, outfit
- Exports in different sizes
- Magic editing and script clipboard
