KREA Realtime Edit is a new AI image tool released in beta in January 2026. It's meant to swap out old-school edit-wait-see setups for something much faster. Your image updates live while you type or talk to it.
It updates fast. You see edits show up right away. You can tweak style, layout, or what’s in the image without stopping. Feels kinda like a live design app.
It listens to full prompts. You can ask for stuff like “add wings to the car” or “make the background underwater” and it makes the change right then.
It’s built on earlier tech. This tool builds on Krea’s older “Nano Banana” model, but now with a way quicker feedback loop.
Still in beta. You might need to get on a waitlist or sign up to try it.
What makes it different. Most AI editors take turns: you give a prompt, wait, then try again if it’s off. Realtime Edit keeps going as you tweak your message, so it feels more like chatting with the AI.
Here’s what that means.
You see changes as you type
You can try a bunch of stuff fast
You fine-tune with barely any effort
Who might like this.
Digital artists and designers. Helps speed up ideas and tweaks
Content creators. Makes visuals quicker
Marketing and design teams. Easy to try stuff together
Anyone tired of slow AI editors
Still being tested. It’s in beta, so you’ll likely need to join through Krea’s platform.
